The independent SLP contractor may designate the specific areas or cities in which he or she prefers to conduct therapy. When contracted through regional centers, therapy is usually performed for one hour per week in the client's home or at a preschool. When contracted through private individuals, therapy duration and rate is designated on the child's evaluation report and agreed upon by the parent and when applicable by the insurance company. |
